Safe Solar Panel Cleaning

Most local cleaning companies are simply not equipped or trained to clean solar panels safely.

Solar Clean Asia’s robot cleaning minimises the risk of human injury and damage to your valuable commercial assets. Our safety protocols follow best practices from the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries.

Our team of fully-insured, highly-trained technicians provide a comprehensive risk assessment and method statement for each location. Prior to commencing work, we perform visual checks of solar panels, and an evaluation of the full array, prioritising safety, and giving feedback on damaged panels and areas of potential risk.

Utitlity-scale installations: our robots have a range of brush widths up to 2.2m to support efficient utility-scale cleaning. This typically allows us to clean a 1MW solar panel array within three days using just one team – two technicians and one robot.

Working at height: we can clean all solar roof installations with a pitch of up to 25-30 degrees (roof pitches of more than 30 degrees require a special Safety Assessment). Our robot’s sturdy tracks, mounted on rubber pads, run are gently on small and large panels and clean quickly and safely without damaging the surface.

The robots are easy to move to new locations on site - the move can be managed by a single person. However, we normally operate with 2-man teams, which reduces the risk of damage to the installation or injury to the operator.

At large scale, for solar farms or industrial installations, Solar Clean Asia’s robots are the fastest, safest and most efficient cleaning solution.
